Aims and Objectives
1. Development Activity
Promote the development projects on “Exception” sites:
- Work closely with Midlands Rural Housing, Parish councils, District Councils and to ensure local needs are met;
- Promote the use of resources in the rural areas;
Promote the work of the Leicestershire Rural Housing Enabler to assist on the delivery of new projects;
- Enable development opportunities for other Housing Associations where appropriate in return for Housing Management responsibility and income.
2. Housing Management Activity
Provide a high quality of service to tenants and to improve the same through the “Best Value” strategy;
- Set targets to measure management performance and report to tenants;
- Consult with tenants and promote tenant representation;
- Promote itself as a skilled manager of rural housing to Local Authorities and other Housing Association;
- Enter into Management Agreements with others to secure management income where viable to do so.
