Local Connection
Local connection is determined by the relevant Section 106 agreement for each individual development/village. However in general the main criteria that you must meet are as follows:-
- You are a current resident of the village that you are applying for (12 months minimum).
- You were born in the village and resident for a minimum of 12 months.
- Have previously resided in the village (for a minimum of 12 months).
- You have immediate family living in the village i.e parents,children, brother or sister. Consideration will be given to other family members if you are particularly close. For example, you were brought up by a grandmother or aunt.
- Work in the village/parish.
One of the above must apply, unless employment is threatened by lack of accommodation.
